Special Educational Needs

At King’s Farm we strongly believe that all children should be enabled to achieve their full potential and we do this by trying to ensure that their individual needs are met.

Special educational needs and disability (SEND) places a strong emphasis on setting suitable challenges for all pupils, stressing the importance of responding to pupils’ needs and overcoming any potential barriers to their learning.  This applies to all our learners at King’s Farm. Regular assessment ensures that inspirational targets are set.

Pupils at King’s Farm are all treated as equals, which means that those with SEND are able to access the curriculum and fully participate in it and achieve at appropriate levels.  Our aim is to prepare all children for the future. They should be confident, sociable and have a desire to succeed in all that they do.
