Pupil Premium Strategy 2021-24

What is Pupil Premium?

Pupil Premium is a government funded resource paid to schools to meet the needs of disadvantaged pupils. Any pupil who is eligible for Free School Meals now, or has been eligible in the previous 6 years, will receive funding. The funding is also provided to meet the needs of children in care to the Local Authority, children who have recently been adopted from care and children of Service families.

Our Pupil Premium strategy sits at the heart of a whole school effort, with all staff understanding the strategy and their role within it. The EEF’s Guide to the Pupil Premium (2019) has informed the spending of our Pupil Premium grant to maximise the benefit for the children at King’s Farm.

Mr Pring and Mrs Fryer are our Pupil Premium Champions and support initiatives to raise outcomes across the school.
