Visit by the Mayor

On Tuesday 21st April the Mayor and Mayoress of Gravesham paid the school a visit. Cllr John Caller was invited to visit the school as he was an ex pupil of Kings Farm School. During his visit he took part in the full school assembly before presenting the school with a small momento of his visit. He was then taken on a tour of the school and greatly admired the completed mosaics and was happy to do his bit with adding a few more tiles to the mosaic currently being worked upon. During his visit he was asked many questions by the children including “Does he live in a mansion? Does he get to keep the chain of office? And has he ever met the Queen?” He admitted to the children that his favourite part of being the Mayor was being fed tea and cakes on all his visits and he was looking forward to attending one of the Queen’s garden parties later this summer.
